- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons honey
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar and honey.
- Drizzle the balsamic honey mixture over the roasted Brussels sprouts.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the glaze is caramelized.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving (optional).
