Ingredients

2 shots espresso (or 1/3 cup strong brewed coffee)
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
Cocoa powder for garnish (optional)


Instructions

Brew the espresso or strong coffee.
In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Froth the milk using a milk frother or by whisking vigorously.
Pour the espresso into a large mug. Add sugar if desired and stir well.
Gently pour the frothed milk into the mug with the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon.
Spoon the foam over the top. Dust with cocoa powder for garnish if desired.
